The cloud-based platform has increased efficiency and accuracy, allowing even faster distribution of royalties to CMRRA clients. Spanish Point designed and built the Licensing and Distribution System (LDS) for CMRRA using the latest Microsoft technologies: SQL Server, BizTalk, SharePoint and Azure. With automatch rates of over 90%, CMRRA is ready for the future.

CMRRA is a music licensing collective representing music rightsholders who range in size from large multinational music publishers to individual songwriters. Together, they own or administer the vast majority of songs recorded, sold and broadcast in Canada. Licensees pay royalties to CMRRA which, in turn, distributes them to rightsholders.
