I’ve submitted my catalogue, when will it be visible in the CMRRA Direct portal?
In general, it can take between 2 and 4 weeks. Delays may occur for a number of reasons, such as an IPI number request, data issues in the form, or other types of manual review that may be needed.
How do I resolve a counterclaim? Will CMRRA tell me when it’s resolved?
To resolve a counterclaim, rights holders must contact the conflicting parties to work towards a resolution, provided their amended claim or relinquishment does not resolve the counterclaim. CMRRA does not actively participate in the resolution of counterclaims, and our records will remain on hold until we receive written confirmation from the claimants to amend the […]
When are my statements made available?
Statements are available as soon as payments are issued and distributions are closed for each quarter. Royalties are distributed to CMRRA clients on a quarterly basis; March 15, June 15, September 15, and December 15. An email notification will be sent to the appropriate contact to advise you on when your statements become available.
Why are there no statement details when I open my statement file?
If you open a statement file with no details, this is related to a distribution for which you did not receive payment. For example, if you did not sign the RUA form for the last Broadcast Mechanical distribution for Commercial Radio royalties, a payment was not issued and therefore statement details were not generated.
